PaperWeek Canada INTRODUCTION
All technical experts should not miss the opportunity to share their knowledge on this global stage!

PaperWeek Canada, the major Canadian gathering for the advancement of the pulp and paper industry, will be taking place February 1-5 2016 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal (Quebec, Canada). SUGGESTIONS:

While there are no specific requirements or guidelines for submitting an abstract (you may choose your own format, line spacing, font, etc.), the recommendations here below will increase the odds of having your abstract accepted:
  - Abstracts will be selected according to level of quality and relevance;
  - Abstracts must describe the presentation’s purpose, methods, and conclusions and may not exceed 250-350 words;
  - Ensure that your ideas are well thought out and follow a logical, coherent flow;
  - State the issue to be discussed;
  - Ensure you include your name, title, organization and contact details, including e-mail, phone, fax and street address;
  - Ensure that the abstract relates to the conference theme;
  - Interest and intrigue the committee by indicating the innovative aspects of your work that distinguishes it from others;
  - Explain the implications/outcomes: why is what you’ve done important?
POTENTIAL PUBLICATION IN J-FOR:

Should your abstract be retained for PWC 2016, we encouraged authors also submit their full manuscript for possible publication in J-FOR in accordance with mandatory guidelines, which will be sent to you afterwards at that time. However, acceptance for presentation in PaperWeek does not guarantee acceptance for publication in J-FOR.
DEADLINE for proposals

The deadline to submit your abstract is Friday, October 16th.
Send your abstract to paperweek@paptac.ca
IMPORTANT NOTE:

It is understood that if the abstract is accepted, the main speaker is committed to participate at PaperWeek. No withdrawal from the program will be accepted, however, speaker replacements are allowed. All notices must be made in writing.

SPEAKERS have to register for the conference but will benefit from a preferred registration fee. Please contact PAPTAC offices for further info or consult the website for complete details. www.paperweekcanada.ca
